Chelsea Camaron is currently reading (and loving)
Every Rose by Lynetta Halat
What do you do when you realize you were foolish enough to throw away true, unconditional love?
Lorraina Dabney turns her back on her creativity and tumultuous upbringing to embark on a college career that will lead her to law school and to becoming what she values most in life—a controlled, powerful, respected woman. When she stumbles upon her childhood friend's artwork, she feels inspired to reconnect with him and her former self. This onslaught of emotion will send Lorraina in a tale-spin to figure out exactly why she abandoned all that she was, all that she could've been.
Coming from his own chaotic upbringing, Michael falls quickly and deeply in love with Lorraina at a tender age. Even her rejection can't stand in the way of his obsession. When she starts to date other boys, however, Michael finally relents, causing him to spiral further into a world filled with violence, drugs, alcohol, and women. Realizing that this lifestyle will only lead to his further estrangement from Lorraina, Michael sets about to turn himself around before going to get his girl.
Michael Bang will have Lorraina questioning everything.

I finished this book and here are my thoughts:
These are just my opinions of the book take it as a grain of
salt……you like what you like, I like what I like. This book is going to bring you through a lot
of different emotions. I try to write
reviews without giving away the storyline, so I hope I hint to the emotions you
will feel and not give away anything.
This story is one best read with a clear mind, no preconceived notions
as to what to expect.
First, let’s make sure your expectations for this book are
in place. This is not a smut type of
romance novel! This is an all-encompassing
love story. I say that because it goes
through the innocence of childhood love, growing together, growing apart, facing
real feelings, facing real heartache, separation, and loss, facing the euphoria
of love on an unconditional level, and making a commitment together.
Second, the happily ever after factor most people will look
for, will be left to your interpretation.
I can see it as a tragedy on one hand, and an eternal connection on
another. Take your pick.
Third, there is drama.
There are parts of this storyline that are a bit melodramatic…….but that
is fiction and well it fits. I think in
today’s NA bad boy in your face current hype it’s hard for people to connect
with a man being so honest with his feelings.
It’s refreshing to have this read and to know the passion and feelings
Michael has throughout. This book is
nothing like anything out there right now and it’s been like a cold glass of
sweet tea (in a mason jar because I am a southern girl) on a super-hot
day.
Fourth, there is faith.
I know, I know, this can sometimes be a touchy subject. It can sometimes be the elephant in the room
no one wants to talk about. It’s written
boldly throughout this story and it fits.
Case in point, the happily ever after factor, if you have faith, then love
is able to carry on always.
Fifth, goes back to one, if you are looking for steamy sex scenes;
this is not the book for you. This is
about love all the way through and through.
The story works perfectly to not need all that. The time they have together is a perfect fit
to these characters and their relationship.
No need for over the top sex scenes for this book.
So, if you can handle all that, then read away and I hope
you enjoy it as much as I did. I
personally, found myself turning on my iPod to listen to the songs Michael
played in the book as I was reading.
Every single one of those songs lyrics fit into this story all the
way. Well done Lynetta Halat, well done.
Looking for a short steamy read??????? Here is a good one. Its a short story not even a novella really, but seems to be a great start to a new series!!!!!!
